kate and jamie met in 2001 in portsmouth, nh over a cup of coffee and a conversation about moving to western north carolina. a year later they were living in the hip and artsy asheville, nc designing and renovating old bungalow homes using an urban country mix of modern & industrial textures and the original organic, arts & craft style. now they’re back in new england, excited to share their style and attitude with salem and the north shore, spotlighting local artisans, sustainability, and the freedom of expression in their stores, roost and the beehive.
